US NPD results: PS5 No.1 hardware and FIFA 23 No.1 game in September 2022

The latest video game software and hardware charts for the month of September have come through from the NPD Group which tracks sales throughout the United States. The best-selling hardware for the month of September was Sony’s PlayStation 5 console with ranked No.1. The Nintendo Switch came second in unit sales among hardware platforms in the month, while the Xbox Series X|S placed 2nd in dollar sales. The best-selling video game proved to be EA’s FIFA 23.
