Yesterday, we got a great one surprise when My.Games released its famous free gaming FPS Warface to Change. Interestingly, the game is actually the first Swedish release powered by CryEngine – or at least its most modified version.
In a recent interview with GamesIndustry.biz, the head of the global publishing company Alexey Izotov described how the developer discovered the "lack of online shooters" in Nintendo's combination program as an opportunity:
The lack of online shooters at Turnch is a strong benefit to us. We are very familiar with this market, so we saw an opportunity to bring our FPS experience to the growing arena.
He also mentioned that My.Games is one of the few companies that has been consistently successful in the free-to-play version of Console and also mentioned how all three of Warface's existing platforms will be updated simultaneously from here on. Crossplay support is being investigated:
We intend to introduce the next major content update at the same time across all three console platforms. After all, the crossplay element is definitely something we look at.
