Video game journalist Tom Henderson, who is generally absolutely right when it comes to game leaks, said on social media platform X that YouTube is currently investigating employees who access the popular video site’s backend and leak content before publication. The problem is that video game leaks are on the rise, and many in the industry assume that YouTube employees have access to pre-release content waiting to be loaded in the backend of the site. Henderson reports that YouTube has conducted two separate investigations in the past 18 months, and a third is about to be conducted.
