10 ways Witcher 3 adds a twist to the Netflix series The Witcher series

In Author 3, Crach manages the same junket to decide who should be the new Great King or Queen of Skellige. Before the ceremony, he noted that an event of this nature would be considered strange if no one died – possibly referring back to a day in Cintra several years ago. Fortunately for him, the Skelligan berserkers – men who turn into barrels after drinking mushroom cocktails – arrive to party, and he gets his fair share of drinking and bloodshed.

Yennefer working with Nilfgaard?

A major point in The Witcher involves Yennefer deciding to renounce his position at Nilfgaard. This led to Frillailla Vigo becoming a court adviser, allowing Nalfgaard to surprise their victory. However, Fritilla later becomes a prisoner of the Emperor Emhyr, who enlists Yennefer's help in Author 3 hire Geralt from Rivia and get Ciri – Emhyr's daughter by blood.

Yennefer is clearly not on Nasfgaard's side in the middle Author 3. He just uses them to go to Ciri. “Who is Yennefer?” Ciri asks Geralt at the end of season 1. “Your new stepmother,” said Geralt, if he can see the future.
