The MORS different from most Modern Warfare 3 Sniper rifles for one reason: It’s damned Railgun. Although the MORS is still classified as a sniper rifle, the big advantage is that you have to “reload” after each shot. However, this only requires a simple pull of the slide rather than inserting a new magazine or individual cartridges, making it much faster than its competitors.
The MORS also has the ability to fire charged shots that deal massive damage, and you can even customize it to be much better at taking out vehicles and armor. Snipers inside Modern Warfare 3 are suitable for either close quarters combat via quickscoping or extremely long range engagements, but what’s unique about MORS is that it can essentially do both – you just have to build it right.
Here is the best MORS loadout in Modern Warfare 3 and how to unlock it via the Battle Pass.

Best MORS loadout in MW3
Here is the best MORS loadout Modern Warfare 3:
- Barrel: Photonic charge barrel
- Laser: SL Razorhawk laser light
- Share: Superlite 90 shaft
- Bolt: Quick bolt
- Rear handle: OP-980 handle
As explained, this MORS loadout is designed for versatility, allowing you to quickly scope enemies up close, but you can also slow down your game and take them out from a distance if necessary. The star of the show in this regard is the Photonic charge barrel, which allows you to hold down the trigger to fire a shot for more damage. The statistical advantage is that charged shots do much more damage, but unloaded shots are actually not much weaker than using the weapon without the attachment.
The most important thing to remember is that the barrel also affects bullet speed. So if you aim it quickly and don’t charge your shots, it won’t be a problem as your opponent is probably pretty close. However, if you don’t charge your shots from a distance, the bullet will fall short. It’s a bit of a compromise in terms of the benefits it offers.
Since the Photonic Charge carries the weapon at long range, it’s best to aim the rest of your attachments at the quick aim element SL Razorhawk laser light
The other three appendices are based on the same thinking, including the Superlite 90 shaft, which trades recoil control for speed in many areas; The Quick bolt, which allows you to reload your next shot much faster; and that OP-980 handle for much faster ADS speed. However, this is the most flexible mounting location. So if you want to focus on dealing vehicle damage, you can swap it out for a new ammo type or an underbarrel attachment instead, as there are plenty to choose from.
Best MORS class in MW3
Here is the best class to use alongside MORS Modern Warfare 3:
- Vest: Overkill vest
- Secondary: FJX Horus
- Tactical: Flash grenade
- Deadly: Throwing knife
- Gloves: Shooting gloves
- Boots: Reinforced boots
- Corridor: Tac mask
Since using a sniper rifle can put you in a tough situation if you miss a few shots, roll with that Overkill vest
The Flash grenade is a fairly standard tactic that is helpful when clearing rooms while the Throwing knife is perfect for killing enemies at close range as it is a one-hit kill. There are no options for gloves Great for this build, but the Overkill Vest also gives you the effects of Marksman Gloves if you have the Quick Grip Gloves or Commando Gloves equipped anyway, so you might as well equip them Shooting gloves from the beginning.
The Reinforced boots Make you immune to motion reduction effects, which can be painful in a fast-paced agility course like this. Finally, this Tac mask Reduces the effectiveness of enemy tactical grenades, a benefit whose usefulness cannot be overstated.
