I wasn’t thrilled with the idea of Bungie adding Glaivis to destiny 2. Something about the initial pitch seemed out of place in a game like destiny 2. But now after many, many hours of playing witch queen, I am pleased to report that the former Zack was an idiot. Glaives are great.
destiny 2 latest expansion, The Witch Queenis very good. Others here and on the internet have already said so. So I won’t spend too much time repeating them or myself. But yes, the new narrative campaign It’s great to pay off story threads from years ago
However, I want to talk about perhaps the best little thing that has been added witch queen: swords.
Glaives clean destiny 2 are kind of an odd combination the merging gun, sword, shield, and spear. They can fire energy beams Attack enemies with your glaive, block damage with the weapon shield, or smack down anyone who gets in your way with his fast and responsive melee attacks. And unlike swords in determination

The thing with these New spear-like weapons offer a good fit and nice hole destiny 2′s combat sandbox. Sometimes, especially when fighting the Hive, you will find yourself in situations where you will be attacked by melee and ranged fighters at long, medium, and close range. The Glaive offers a nice solution to all of these problems. Sure, I know the experts and min/max obsessives destiny 2 Fans will likely point out some tweaks and nerfs that Bungie has applied to Glaives since Witch Queen launched. And they might also point out that this special weapon is actually more effective or does it better for crowd control or whatever.
And I say to them: That’s cool.
I’ll have fun beating the shit out from Fallen and Hive with my magic space stick, smiling and laughing the whole time.
