Most of them Dragon’s Dogma 2The classes (or “professions”) are holdovers from the series’ 2012 entry. However, being a sequel, Capcom’s newly released high-fantasy action RPG features some new professions for you to unlock can. One of them, the Mystic Spearhand serving Darth Maulis a class that is super easy to unlock and just as easy to miss. But don’t worry, I’m here for you.
Dragon’s Dogma 2Mystic Spearhand essentially takes the place of the dragon’s beliefis Mystic Knight. Both professions strike down enemies with magical and melee attacks, making them advanced hybrid classes that have high defensive and offensive capabilities. While the Mystic Knight can be unlocked once you reach level 10 in the OG game, acquiring the Mystic Spearhand requires a little more effort. However, it’s not as much as some online games make it seem, as you can unlock the calling after the first five hours or so Dragon’s Dogma 2‘S Trip. And believe me, it’s worth it.
How to open Dragon’s Dogma 2The mystical spear hand
Once you start Dragon’s Dogma 2
You escape the prison you were locked in and can explore various areas including the run-down town of Melve (which is important for unlocking the Mystic Spearhand – but we’ll get to that in a moment). When you reach Vernworth, Vermund’s first major city, you will become familiar with it Brant, the captain of Vermund’s guard and main quest giver. Talking to him will trigger at least three different missions for you to complete. Your journey to unlocking the Mystic Spearhand officially begins here.
Brant will ask you to kill some monsters for the “Monster Slaying” quest, investigate the queen for the “Disa’s Conspiracy” m ission, and release a high-ranking official to complete the “The Imprisoned Magistrate” objective. It doesn’t actually matter what order you complete these missions in, and you only need to complete one of them to make further progress towards unlocking the Medieval Wielding of Power vocation. So the choice is yours. For me, I did the “monster culling” because it was pretty easy to turn it off and really fuck Lizards
After completing and completing one of Brant’s quests, you’ll want to return to Melve from Vernworth in the oxcart. Slipping through here as part of the main quest will take you back to a memory when the city was thriving rather than just surviving, but it will be just moments before the fateful dragon attack that set you on the right path to becoming the Risen in the first place become. When you return to the now dilapidated town, you will find Melve being leveled once again by another dragon.
Anyone with capable fighting hands will do their best to fend off the flying lizard, too Sigurd, a very hot NPC who also happens to be the master of the Mystic Spearhand calling. You don’t have to kill the dragon (although there are benefits if you do), you just have to survive long enough for the beast to retreat. If that’s the case, you should rush to Sigurd and talk to him before he leaves town. If you ask him about his fighting style, he will tell you that it was a “patchwork of skills” that he developed himself. This will then unlock the Mystic Spearhand class. As simple as that.
If you miss Sigurd because you were dead or distracted or whatever, you can find him in his house at Harrow Village, which is located just southwest of Vernworth and is one of the areas you will visit as part of the Monster Killing quest. Speak to him there and, Viola, you will learn the Mystic Spearhand vocation. Easy as pie, especially cheesy. But What happens if you kill the dragon that is terrorizing Melve?, although? Well, not only do you get tons of gold and XP, but you also get some upgrade materials and the powerful Dead Ringer duo spear for the Mystic Spearhand. Exclusive to the high fantasy Twinblade vocation, this weapon is a great early weapon due to its high magic and melee damage in comparison The Initiate’s Spear, the first weapon you get when you unlock the class in the first place. I told you it was worth it.
That’s it. There isn’t much else to unlocking the Mystic Spearhand. To break it down to its simplest form, all you need to do is meet Sigurd in Melve by visiting the town at least twice. And from there, you can live out your imagination and hurl corpses at enemies using your medieval might powers. It’s sick.
