In honor of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shiny PearlTwitter user Uma decided to publish a paper diorama version of. to create Twin leaf city, the first city players will encounter in the game.
Uma hoped that people who saw his diorama would remember memories they had while playing the original Diamond and pearl if the games were first released on the Nintendo DS fifteen years ago.
The basis of the papercraft is styrofoam. In addition, Uma put brown paper for the roads, green paper for the grass, and white paper for the snow. But the really impressive parts are the trees and houses.
It was time consuming to create each individual tree, which consisted of 1 cm, 2 cm, and 3 cm tree circles. The circles were repeatedly folded and then glued on top of each other, creating the illusion of layered branches and leaves. Then rolled brown paper was used to make the trunk. Making a paper tree seems fiddly, but Uma ended up making a total of 51!
Building the houses seems even more difficult. The logs for each are tightly rolled brown drawing paper that has been individually taped together and then cut at an angle to support the roof. Pieces of wood were too cut to make the trim. Again, the process looks so fiddly, but the end result is fantastic. The entire project took around sixty hours to complete, reports Refined

This is not the first time Uma has created something like this. Last year he rebuilt Pallet Town.
In this youtube video, you can see how Uma created the Twinleaf Town papercraft project– it’s a bit like that How to draw an owl meme, although.
If that wasn’t enough – and I guess …, it isn’t – Uma did some excellent stop motion animation too.
