A realistic one PlayStation 2 The Lego set with moving parts is one of over 50 fan-made sets that Perhapsone day be available on a store shelf near you. The catch is that the designers and team at Lego have to approve it. And I really, really hope they do.
For those not up to date: Lego ideas is an official website where people can submit their own ideas Possible Lego sets. These sets are then voted on by other Lego fans and collectors, and when a set reaches 10,000 votes, it (and other sets that have reached this milestone) are rated by Lego. During this review process, the company evaluates many factors including price, the IP it is based on, how many bricks are needed, playability, etc. And when a set passes all of that, it moves on to development and eventually becomes one real set for you can be purchased in stores.
On January 7th Lego has published the latest Ideas review All sets that have reached 10,000 votes and are now entering the review process will be displayed there. One of the sets is a very impressive looking Lego replica of the PS2, complete with a movable disc tray and internal parts.
According to the Lego Ideas page The proposed PS2 set is an almost 1:1 replica of the console, consisting of 2111 parts. Yowza!
It also comes with memory cards and a brick-built controller, which looks pretty good considering it had to be built from pre-existing Lego pieces. You can connect the cards and controller to the PS2 console, which also has a fan and a removable network expansion slot.
But this cool PS2 set isn't the only gaming set Lego is testing. There are also sets based on Genshin Impact, Deep Rock Galactic, And Geometry Dash. My personal favorite of these other suggested gaming sets is an adorable one Portal 2 Set with P-Body and Atlas. Valve and Lego have already worked together So this seems to be a given. Come on Lego, be cool and approve this PS2 set and portal Sentence.
