Necrozma Raid Counter in Pokémon Go

Necrosma is the star of Pokémon Go Fest 2024 and will make its debut along with its special forms.

Necrozma changes types in its different forms. In its basic, unfused form, it is Psychic-type. When fused with Solgaleo to become Dusk Mane Necrozma, it is Psychic and Steel-type. When fused with Lunala to become Dawn Wings Necrozma, it is Psychic and Ghost-type.

Necrozma will be seen in raids on Saturday, July 13, and its special forms, Dusk Mane and Dawn Wing, will be seen in raids on Sunday, July 14. Note that if you defeat Dusk Mane and Dawn Wing Necrozma in raids, you will have a chance to catch Necrozma, but not in its special forms. You will receive Solar and Lunar Fusion Energy, the resources you need to obtain these forms of Necrozma, by defeating these raids.

Best Necrozma Raid Counters in Pokémon Go

The version of Necrozma you’re attacking has slightly different counters, which we’ll list below. As usual with our counters, we’ll list a mix of the best of the best, as well as some easier-to-obtain Pokemon. Even if you don’t have the Pokemon listed, your Pokemon should be fine to find as long as it has a recommended move type and is strong.

Generally, all three forms of Necrozma are vulnerable to ghost and dark attacksSo here is a list of very powerful attackers from these typologies:

• Lunala with Confusion and Shadow Ball (Ghost)
• Original form Giratina with Shadow Claw and Shadow Force or Shadow Ball (Ghost)
• Blacephalon with Astonish and Shadow Ball (Ghost)

Dusk Mane Necrozma Raid Counter

Dusk Mane Necrozma is weak against Floor-, Spirit-, Fire-, And dark-type movements. Use one of the following:

• Groudon with Mud Shot and Precipice Blades or Earthquake (ground)
• Garchomp with mud shot and earth force or earthquake (ground)
• Excadrill with mud splashing and scorching sand (floor)
• Mammoth wine with mud impact and high horsepower (soil)
• Reshiram with Fire Fang and Fusion Flare or Overheat (fire)
• Blacephalon with Incinerate and Mystical Fire (Fire)
• Volcano with fire whirlwind and overheating (fire)
• Darmanitan with Fire Fang and Overheat (Fire)

Megas like Mega Garchomp, Primal Groudon, Mega-Lohgikonor Mega Charizard Y will also help you do tons of damage if you have the energy for it.

Dawn Wings Necrozma Raid Counter

Dawn Wings Necrozma is very weak against Spirit– And dark-type attacks, but it doesn’t have any additional weaknesses like its other forms. Using Pokemon from our initial counter list should get the job done.
