Live action from Netflix resident Evil Series will not get a second season meeting reported Friday. Despite great, long-term plans for the TV adaptation of Capcom’s survival horror franchise, the resident Evil The series reportedly failed to find a large enough audience to warrant renewal.

The eight-episode Netflix series was recently followed by another disappointing live-action adaptation, Sony Pictures’ so-so Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, which hit theaters last November. Resident Evil fans, at least, will soon have a new fix for the video games as a new story expansion is coming Resident Evil Village this October and a remake of Resident Evil 4 Landing early next year.
