Netflix seems determined to make a name for itself in the gaming space. During Saturday’s Ubisoft Forward showcase, where the French company highlights its latest and greatest, the streaming giant took to the stage to announce a new partnership that will see the release of three exclusive mobile games. Beyond a New Assassin’s Creedyou can expect brave hearts 2 and Mighty Quest, which is a kind of strange collection of games. If you’re a Netflix subscriber, the titles are “free.”
Here’s Netflix:
The first game of the partnership will be a sequel to Valiant Hearts, the World War I puzzle adventure. Directed by the team behind the first game, the new story launches in January 2023. Also coming in 2023 is a new Mighty Quest for Epic Loot that will offer Netflix members a roguelite-inspired hack-and-slash adventure.
Finally there is big news for Assassin’s Creed fans: In addition to the Live action series Assassin’s Creed being developed for Netflix, an original Assassin’s Creed mobile game is also in the works.
The upcoming Assassin’s Creed series was announced two years ago, with Jason Altman and Danielle Kreinik involved in the project. You may know her very well Mythic Quest Apple TV Show, a comedy about a video game studio. Beyond that, we don’t know much yet.
Netflix has been on the rise lately, albeit a little quietly. early September, the Miscellaneous big n released Lucky luna, a platformer from the makers of Alto’s Oddysee which, you understand, has no bouncing at all. If you haven’t played it or heard about it, well, that’s kind of been Netflix’s big problem lately with all these efforts. Less than one percent of Netflix subscribers try their games, according to recent data, and it’s not due to poor quality. So far other releases have included titles like Stranger Things: The Game, Stranger Things 3: The Game, Card Blast, Teeter Up, and shooting hoops. The biggest highlight, however must be into the breach Netflix re-release which contained so much new content that it could basically be considered a sequel.

Humble Bundle 2K Megahits Game Bundle for Covenant House
Providing shelter and supportive services to youth affected by homelessness
A number of games from 2K have been bundled together. You can pay whatever you want to support the cause, but if you want access to some of the big hits like Borderlands 3, The Bioshock Collection, XCOM: The Ultimate Collection, and Sid Meier’s Civilizatrion VI, you’ll need to pay at least $16. But hey, that’s hardly anything compared to the $663 value you get from all 18 games combined.
But hey, by the time these new games come out, they will probably have let more people know about them. While less than one percent may sound small, that’s still millions of downloads. Assassin’s Creed will surely draw an audience.
