Today one of the larger press events of E3 2021 took place in the form of a combined showcase for Microsoft Xbox and Bethesda Game Studios. In this 3-minute video you will only find the highlights of the over 80-minute event.
Bethesda’s huge new RPG, Star field
The Showcase launched one of its greatest weapons, using the very first gameplay material from. debuted Bethesda’s space role-playing game Star field. Developed for several years before its first teas in 2018, this single-player adventure promises to be enormous. Bethesda was of course recently acquired by Microsoft, so many of its future games will be Console-exclusive for Xbox
STALKER 2 is the real deal
Another highly anticipated game made his debut very first gameplay recordings in the form of STALKER 2: The heart of Chernobyl. Yes, GSC game world will finally deliver a sequel to the cult classic trilogy that began in 2007 STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl. This first footage is pretty impressive and looks unmistakably STALKER, even when showing off its chic new ray-traced graphics. And true to the series form, it looks scary.
Halo infinite lives and looks good
You may also have heard that yes, Xbox Series X flagship shooter Halo infinite finally ended his long absence from the public. The 343 Studios sci-fi sequel featured both multiplayer and single-player narrative content, including a touching moment between Master Chief and his possibly corrupted AI companion Cortana. The grapple Looks super fun in multiplayer too. Both single and multiplayer are planned for Christmas 2021.

The presser also showed off loads of new surprises and minor goodies, including Arkane Austin’s four-player co-op vampire shooter Redfall, hot footage from the just announced Battlefield 2042that are absolutely incredible looking Eiyuden Chronicle: A Hundred Heroes (a spiritual successor to the beloved JRPG Suikoden), Extensions for Sea of thieves and Fallout 76, and much more.
Oh, and Xbox Game Pass is really awesome
Between the two companies, they have shown a total of 30 games, and Xbox Game Pass members will be pleased to hear that 27 of them are full directly to the Game Pass after approval. (Shots fired, PS Now.) Anyway, check out the video for footage of all of this and more!
