CBS Los Angeles, which had been reporting for the campaign, had canceled its story, and Shell did not respond to Gizmodo's request for confirmation. (Sam Gavin's tweet above, which contained a video promoting the "She Will" campaign, has also been deleted.)
On the flip side, AdwEek editor David Griner reports that he has confirmed the campaign's legitimacy and that the claims of the popular Yes Men are false.
