Earlier today Leonardo’s Twitter account lopez perezalso known as “MkLeo”, one of if not the best smashed players of the worldwas hacked by crypto geeks trying to spread their fake NFT schemes.
Five hours ago (as of the time of publication), his account tweeted a cryptic message that simply said, “A big announcement is coming….👀“. Between his reputation, 217,000 followers and/or sponsorship deals that could have meant anything but womp, two hours later a follow-up tweet revealed he had been hacked instead as the intruders started posting visually nauseous NFT- post crap.
MkLeo’s profile picture was changed to a crappy NFT picture (above) and the tweets didn’t even direct people to an actual NFT project but to a scam operation within a scam by people pretending to be a well known outfit known as ” The Possessed”.
as Web3 runs great reportthe links in the tweet sent anyone who clicked on them to “a scam website that claimed to allow people to mint NFTs from the actual Possessed NFT project,” but was actually just a front for the hustlers.
After Distribution through other channels MkLeo has since regained control of his account and the NFT tweets have been deleted.

Everything that has happened since is exactly how you would imagine such an auction to be in the bland Web3 space.
