Xbox recently announced this Four of its older titles would be released across platformsand finally detailed what games would be I made the jump earlier this week. The games include HiFi Rushthe surprising rhythm-action game from Bethesda and Tango Gameworks came out of nowhere at the beginning of last year. When, however HiFi Rush was confirmed Landing on PS5 in March, there was one strange absence: a release date for a port on the hugely popular Nintendo Switch. Turns out that might be the reason HiFi Rush The console was reportedly skipped and launched on its successor instead.
At least that’s what comes from the reporting Insider Gamingwhose sources have reportedly suggested this HiFi Rush will be coming to the Switch successor, which explains the absence of a Switch version among yesterday’s barrage of confirmations. The report doesn’t mention whether this move prevents the game from ever appearing on the Switch – perhaps even coinciding with its release on Nintendo’s next device – but does suggest that the announcement of a Nintendo port may have been pushed back a bit in time , to line up with a formal announcement of the next system. Just last week, another round of reports suggested that the highly anticipated Nintendo console, once heavily rumored to launch in the second half of 2024, may have been postponed to 2025
The message from HiFi Rush It’s a bit of a shock to potentially miss out on the Nintendo Switch, especially considering Leaks earlier this month which hinted at an imminent release on a Nintendo system.
