Just before the holidays, I said on Twitter that I was pulling the story together for the most anticipated games of 2020. I asked for recommendations, especially indie games, to list. The response was overwhelming, so much so that I couldn't even include all the recommended games on our first 50 list.
The top-50 list included the most awaited indie games 12 minutes, Carrion, Griftlands, Minutes of Islands, Nuts, Red Lantern, Shipping, Saturnalia, Skatebird. Spelunky 2, A person practicing spiritism, and more. And it's just weeks to be released Kentucky Route Zero Act 5, which is part of a very important sports series. But with so many curious and interesting indie games coming out, I wanted to highlight a few additional gems.
For the record only, I describe indie games here as those made by one person or a small group that isn't a big company.
