Obviously art is subjective and one person’s beauty is another person’s horror. But this Gardevoir card is scientifically proven to be the most beautiful in the world. I have evidence, peer-reviewed documents, the works. Just DM me. But more importantly, Just look at it.
Gardevoir is obviously one of the best Pokemon, an opinion shared by all sensible, decent people, and it’s wonderful to see it so gracefully portrayed here. And these colors! It’s so wistful, this feeling of gloom punctuated by the wonderfully cartoonish look of surprise on the Wooper’s face.
But I bet you didn’t notice the literal heap from Pachirisu.
This is from Pokémon newbie but prolific artist, Kuroimori. Gosh, I hope we see so much more of them – what an incredible start. This is objectively the prettiest card in the entire set. Unfortunately, I’ll have to be lucky to get it, as the Japanese version changes hands for over $120.
