Riot has revealed the first details Appreciation‘s new episode that will contain a new character. While Riot is sure to detail some of the other changes that are likely to come with the new January 12th update, the developer has already given us a look at Yoru. Appreciationis the newest agent.
Yoru is an Infiltrator Duelist who specializes in misdirection and movement. He can teleport things like short distances, blind his opponents with a flash of lightning, and make himself invisible with his Ultimate. The new agent can even fake steps to completely throw off their enemies.
Along with Yoru, Riot is also releasing a new Battle Pass that runs through March 1st and a skin bundle called the Run-It-Back Bundle, which contains some of the most popular skins by fans Appreciation‘s first episode.
Appreciation Episode 2 Act 1 will go live on January 12th and will likely include some other patch notes and balance changes. Right now, you can check out Yoru’s full kit so you know what to expect from the tricky new agent.
C – fake
Equip an Echo that mimics footsteps when activated. Fire to activate the echo and send it forward. Old fire to place an echo. Use the inactive echo to send it forward.
E – Gate crash
Equip yourself to use a rift tether fire to send the tether forward. Alt-Fire to place a tether. Activate it to teleport you to the location of the tether.
Q – blindside
Equip yourself to tear an unstable dimensional fragment out of reality. Fire to throw the fragment and activate a bolt of lightning that will dissipate once it hits a hard surface in the world.
X – dimensional drift
Equip a mask that can see between dimensions. Fire invades Yoru’s dimension and cannot be influenced or seen by outside enemies.
