This time I was reborn as a slime Season 2 is almost back with the second half. The next new episodes in the series will premiere in Japan on July 6th. The announcement came along with a new trailer released by the show’s animation studio. 8 bit, On Monday.

Part 2 of the anime’s second season continues to follow Rimuru and his land of monster friends, but while they may deserve peace by the end of Part 1, it seems to be short-lived. After Rimuru and his allies resurrect Veldora and give him a new form, they must take on Clayman in what looks like a massive battle from the trailer, bigger than any other they have fought before.
The show’s second season was originally scheduled to air its first part in October 2020 and its second part in January 2021, but has faced production delays due to the coronavirus pandemic. Instead, Season 2 Part 1 began in January 2021 and Part 2 was postponed until this summer. The series also has a new spinoff called The Slime Diaries: This time I was reborn as slime.
This time I was reborn as a slime Season 2 Part 2 will likely have 12 episodes, just like the first part of the season. The second part of the season is expected to be streamed shortly after or at the same time as the Japanese premiere on July 6 in North America.
