‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ once again dominates streaming services in Japan, after being crowned the most watched series for four consecutive months.
The first season of ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ has already ended, but its fame has not stopped for a moment for Japanese fans, who since the end of the series have not stopped watching its episodes again, according to the GEM Partners survey
The company that is dedicated to obtaining the metrics of television popularity and streaming services took the data of 7,000 respondents week by week during the month of May, including people between 16 and 69 years old.
Although age is a big factor, the most fascinating thing is that they are not limited to a single service, since they take into account what they watched the most on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu Japan, Anime Store and dTVi to declare the winners.
In the first place, the sorcerers of the Tokyo metropolitan school stand out, something unexpected, considering that it under a total of 25 points compared to April and even so it remained above large series.
In second place it is still dominated by ‘Detective Conan’, a series that made a glorious return to the list last month, thanks to the premiere of its latest film that takes us to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and returns to the screen to the family Asahi.
‘Kimetsu no Yaiba’ took third place from ‘Shingeki no Kyojin’ in the past, followed by ‘Tokyo Revengers’ at No. 4 and being their first time at the top.
