Developed by Fallen Tree Games and distributed by Kwalee, The Precinct It is a fully 3D game and its camera is not exactly overhead, but rather inclined like in strategy games. We take on the role of police officer Nick Ordell Jr., a rookie in the city of Averno whose duty is to clean the streets of violence and solve procedurally generated crimes.
In addition to its clear proximity to games like GTA: Chinatown Wars In the visual aspect, it is also reminiscent of police films where the protagonist seeks justice for the death of his father. Its ‘neo-noir’ tone sets the game’s story in 1983. Players can call for reinforcements from the Averno police department to capture more dangerous criminals. These can send patrols, roadblocks, and spikes into the ground, as support tools in the open world.
