The growth of the world of Korean digital comics in the West continues to level up.
Solo Leveling is one of the most important webcomics of the moment, having generated a loyal hobby and great interest thanks to offering a familiar narrative with a fresh twist.
At Solo Leveling we have the following premise:
Since a portal appeared that connects our world with a world full of monsters and creatures of all kinds, some people have acquired powers and the ability to hunt them: they are called hunters.
The protagonist of the story, Sung Jin-Woo, is the weakest of the E rank hunters and barely stronger than a normal human. His fellow hunters dubbed him “the weakest.” One day, he and other hunters find themselves trapped in an extremely dangerous dungeon, and only a few survive and manage to escape.
Sung Jin-Woo himself barely survives and is the only one to complete all the trials in this dungeon. Then he becomes a “player” who can now see an interface that shows him missions. Will you succeed in becoming the most powerful player?
Such a premise is more than enough to seduce fans of the isekai, whether in novels or digital comics, to fold and become fans of absolute fidelity. Despite enjoying popularity comparable to Tower of God or The God of Highschool, Solo Leveling has not been considered for anime adaptation.

To date, there is only one potential adaptation to the world of mobile games, from the hand of Netmarble and conversations with platforms such as Netflix or Amazon for the realization of a live action adaptation.
Meanwhile, this July 8, the official distribution platforms of this work will have in their hands the 157th episode of the webcomic, which keeps all its fans on the edge of the seat.
For fans in the West, they have to wait a little longer, as a new edition is published on the platform every Monday Tapas, with a delay of several chapters to be up to date with the official version. Or read the quick version of the story through Tappy Toon.
