A short video has recently been leaked in which we can see a Verdansk (Warzone’s only map) redesigned in the retro style of the 80s. Apparently this would be the new map of Activision’s battle royale, a version of the past of the existing one, something that has generated a lot of negative comments.
The first means to cover leaks it was VGC And thanks to them we also learned that Activision is a little more dedicated to ending the leaks this time. And it is that the Twitter account of this medium and its editor received a suspension notification for sharing the material.
Watch out for leaks
In the same way, the video has disappeared from Twitter since it is hardly published, the account receives a warning. It is unknown why so much secrecy with a concept that had already been leaked a long time ago and especially with a saga that always has leaks months in advance.

In any case, it seems that Activision has not been able or has not been able to reach Reddit, since the video continues available in these forums.
Apparently there is a longer version that is certainly much more difficult to come by now that Activision has decided to sue whoever decides to filter more content for breaking copyright laws.
In any case, as we said, the reactions have been negative. Players were expecting a new map but it seems that the novelty will be half. In the same way, we remember that the same thing always happens with leaks and that this may not be all the content prepared for the game.
Warzone debuted in March of last year and has been a hit with gamers looking for a free AAA battle royale. However, there have also been complaints about the lack of maps and game modes and this leak has revived these comments.
