Nintendo recently streamed another Indie World revealing more than a dozen games coming to its hybrid console in the coming months. The event has just ended and no, Silksong is still not showing, but at least there is a good selection of games to consider.
Several of these come from other platforms like the PC, but there are also some that will debut on Switch.
TOEM: A Photo Adventure
The Something We Made game debuted at Steam Next Fest with a good demo that surprised the PC community. It is an adventure in black and white where, with our camera, we can help various villages to solve small and large problems. A demo is available and the game will be released in the fall on Switch and PC.
Loop Hero
One of the best indies of the year is coming to Switch at the end of the year. The Devolver Digital and Four Quarters title came to PC in April and garnered rave reviews, and now brings its infinite cycle to the Nintendo console. It’s an excellent role-playing and management game, so Switch users can be happy
Necrobarista: Final For
Route 59 launched this adventure game a year ago and received good reviews on PC. This version coming to Switch will do so with a character model viewer and new content from the game’s story. Therefore, it is a good buy even for those who have already played it. We can play it today on Switch.
Axion Verge 2
Thomas Happ Games surprised everyone with the first Axion Verge in 2015, the sequel was long in coming but at least we have the good news that it is released today by surprise. The game is a metroid sheath with shooting mechanics and will also be released on PC and PS4.
Shovel Knight: Pocket Dungeon
The Yacht title will use its most beloved franchise to offer an experience in the style of Tetris or four in a row but with elements of Shovel Knight. According to the developer there will be fights against known bosses, beloved character skins and a lot of content in the form of DLC. Will arrive at the end of the year
Metal Slug Tactics
DotEmu revealed a new trailer for this franchise that returns but with turn-based RPG mechanics. The trailer didn’t show much new except for some anime-style cutscenes and 30 seconds of gameplay. It will arrive in 2022.
Tetris Effect Connected
Finally, Stage Games presented its version of Tetris Effect Connected for Switch. The title has already debuted on all platforms and only Nintendo’s was missing, it’s about Tetris but with a couple of turns.
