Owlcat Games and Prime Matter, Koch Media’s new label, they have announced that Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous has been delayed on consoles for several months. The game will continue to release on September 2 on PC, but users of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (and the next gen) will have to wait at least until March.
Originally the game was not going to reach consoles as the announcement was made exclusively for Steam. However, a couple of months ago it was revealed that it would reach consoles in the fall, this launch window has been moved today, although the study did not explain the reason for the delay.
Another Pathfinder
In any case, the title will continue to arrive on PC in September with 25 classes, 12 races and more than 8 paths to take. After all, it is a video game inspired by Paizo’s Pathfinder franchise, so it is intended to be spent several times choosing different paths.
Owldcat’s first Pathfinder, Kingmaker, received mixed reviews but there were more positives than negatives. We were facing a very classic role-playing game with an isometric view, a medieval setting and many companions. This sequel is continuous in every mechanical and playable aspect, although it does not continue the story in the place where we left it.
Of course, we are again trapped in a conflict between demons and mortals, and our decisions can make us the enemy of either side or both. For its part, the combat is still in real time and with spectacular animations, you can see the trailer with all the mechanics below.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is coming September 1 on PC (Steam, EGS, GoG) and March 1 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
