The fourth season of Stranger Things, announced in 2019, is long overdue. Filming should have started in the first few months of 2020, but the pandemic delayed all production. We were still hoping to see the series in 2021, but that is no longer possible.

Netflix confirmed today what everyone knew, namely that the fourth season of Stranger Things won’t appear until 2022, on an as-yet-unknown date. This official does not surprise anyone, as we learned in May when the last trailer aired that production was still in progress. Today’s trailer, posted on YouTube and Twitter, gives us a quick glimpse of what to expect next year. Obviously on the screen we find Elf, Mike, Dustin, Will and Lucas, but also Hopperwhose fate is very fascinating. Again we hear the phrase “Elven, are you listening?” heard in May indicating this the character’s past should be investigated in depth.

The upside-down threat seems bigger than ever, but it doesn’t seem like the only one hanging over Hawkins. Netflix has also confirmed that season four will allow Stranger Things writers introduce a range of new characters

. We find Amybeth McNulty in the role of Vickie, Myles Truitt in the skin of a certain Patrick, Regina Ting Chen in that of Ms. Kelly and Grace Van Dien as Chrissy. She also appears briefly in the trailer and performs a choreography.. See you next year to solve the mysteries of this world and find the group of teenagers.
