A new patch for Dead Strark go live today that eventually makes the extended images thit happens when you interact with BTs with absolute choice.
Surprising Death is a long game that has been made a long time ago for bespoke photography. One of the published images turned into the Odradek Terrain Scanner, a strange looking piece that hangs over Sam's shoulder and lets him know when BT is around.
Every time you run into them, which is very common, especially in the later part of the game, Odradek takes his time filling his head while the player is caught waiting for the animation to get the game started.
Thanks to today's update, that animation can now be turned off by going to the settings menu. Sam will first meet BTs, but each time thereafter, the match will continue once without a moment's notice.
