The photo messenger Snapchat offers the possibility to send pictures to certain recipients or to post them as a “story”. Nothing special in itself, but the photos can only be viewed once. To avoid this, a screenshot can be made. You can find out whether you will notice anything here.
The answer is yes. You can see whether your chat partner has taken a screenshot. To do this, tap on the three dots next to a story you have published on the stories page. Next to each picture you can see two symbols. The number next to a purple eye shows how many people have already seen the story. The green triangle shows the number of people who have taken a screenshot.
But that’s not all, if you tap on a snap and then swipe from bottom to top across the screen, you will be shown a list. The names in green letters show you who took a screenshot.
However, you can only see this overview as long as the picture is available. The story disappears automatically after 24 hours and with it the overview.
