Hello dear Xbox community! Today I am very happy to talk to you about it young souls. This is our studio’s first game and we’re excited to have it available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.

in the young souls, play as Jenn and Tristan, two orphans in search of their missing foster father. Her journey takes her to a parallel world of heavily armed goblins, where a stubborn despot has kidnapped her surrogate father. During your adventure you will meet charming characters and fearsome enemies.young souls is a mix of Beat’em Up and RPG that can be played solo or in co-op, which is exactly what we love about video games at 1P2P. Let me unravel that for you.

A challenging but accessible beat ’em up

in the young soulswe have developed a sharp and challenging combat system inspired by both classic 2D beat ’em up and more modern 3D. Our characters have great movement capacity and can roll, block and parry. Like all 2D beat ’em ups, they can move towards and away from the screen. However, we’ve done a lot of work on aligning the characters with the enemies so that it doesn’t affect the gameplay. Our approach with young souls is more flexible than some classics.

A large number of weapons and accessories will be at your disposal, with each weapon offering a different playstyle. Each accessory can change your approach to combat, and your gear will greatly affect your playstyle.

And of course we want to offer a challenging experience for the fearless among you, but let’s not forget players who want to have a relaxed gameplay. You will find multiple difficulty modes in young soulsand accessibility features to customize your experience in a way that suits you.

With a little RPG (Because we love it)

During your adventure you will discover all aspects of role-playing young souls has to offer. We wanted to offer a compelling story with unforgettable dialogue and spirited characters that you’ll fall in love with immediately. It was important to us to have main characters that didn’t feel like avatars. They react, interact and are moved throughout the game. Your antagonists are also complex, each with their own strong personality, and we hope you enjoy following this adventure as much as we enjoyed writing it.

You will experience this adventure in two different worlds: the world of goblins and the world of humans. In the world of goblins, you face multiple challenges, while the world of humans is your safe space. Each world will reveal its secrets through your adventure.

You can’t have an RPG game without polished game mechanics, right? Here we wanted to illustrate the evolution of our heroes and they get stronger and stronger as they level up. You can also upgrade your gear and feel the twins grow as powerful as you desire.

Playable alone or in co-op!

Whether you play alone or in cooperation, with Jenn and Tristan you always have two inseparable heroes. In co-op, each player plays one of the twins. In solo play, you play with a “tag” system that allows you to switch between characters. Use this feature to your advantage and create insane combo attacks. We’re really proud of that aspect of the game and that we’ve been able to integrate these two characters whether you’re playing with someone else or not.
