Sounds like EA is ready to show off Skateboard 4according to reports.
A source who spoke with Try Hard’s Tom Henderson said EA is ready to give the world a look at the next entry in the series.
According to reports, the game is just called Skate, and when leaked footage surfaced in April, its development was further along than previously thought. Apparently, the leaked footage shows a game that is in the early stages of development, and has been several months old.
Skate 4, which is what we call it now, was announced as early development at the EA Play Live 2020 showcase by franchise director Deran Chung and creative director Chris Parry, who said fans of the series had commented that it “exists.” “
The following January, EA launched Vancouver-based studio Full Circle, which it said would be working on Skateboard 4. The studio is led by Daniel McCulloch, the former head of Microsoft’s Xbox Live.
While almost nothing is known about the game, EA hinted during a June 2020 investor call that Skateboard 4 could include an open world with “user-generated content and interactions.”
The last game in the series, Skate 3, was released in May 2010, with new features from the series, such as a park builder and a choice of difficulty modes.
