Rollback netcode and a new-gen version have been announced for Dragon Ball FighterZ.
Bandai Namco Europe today announced that the new-gen versions of Dragon Ball FighterZ, the 2D fighting game being developed by Arc System Works, are now in the works for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This was revealed during Dragon Ball FighterZ’s Top 8 competition for the Evolution Championship Series (EVO) 2022.
The new-gen editions will leverage the power of these platforms, offering even better graphics paired with impressive responsiveness to player input. Additionally, next-gen and PC gamers will experience even smoother online play thanks to the integration of rollback netcode in a future update.
More information on the new-gen versions of the game and the rollback netcode will be released at a later date.
