If we’re being honest, it was only a matter of time before Geralt was sucked into Fortnite’s colorful Battle Royale world, wasn’t it?
With the launch of Chapter 4 on December 4, 2022, not only has a whole new game world been unveiled (after the old map was spectacularly torn to pieces in the finale of Chapter 3: Shattered), but of course many skins as well.
Fortnite has traditionally collaborated with numerous brands – there’s comic hero Deadpool, DJ Marshmello, anime ninja Naruto, Demogorgon from Stranger Things and what feels like 10,000 other pop culture characters. In the new trailer for Chapter 4, game fans in particular will notice three skins in particular:
- Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher
- Hulk from the Marvel Comics
- Doomslayer from the Doom games
Can you spot them all in the trailer? Here is the video:

How do you unlock Geralt?
For the cultured RPG fan, of course, the Witcher outfit is the sticking point. But how do you get the costume? To play the infamous White Wolf, as Geralt is often called, you need the new Battle Pass from Fortnite Chapter 4, which as usual has a price of 950 V-Bucks.
However, simply leveling up the Battle Pass levels is not enough to unlock Geralt! The Witcher protagonist is hidden behind a challenge that activates from day 65 of the season.
In plain language this means: From February 7th, 2023 you can accept and complete the corresponding quest if you have the Battle Pass. What exactly the quest looks like is not yet known, but the previous tasks for hidden Battle Pass skins were relatively simple and did not require an exorbitant grind.
The following items belong to the Geralt set in Fortnite:
- Geralt of Rivia (Outfit)
- Witcher’s Steel Sword (Harvesting Tool)
- Weapons of The Witcher (Back Bling)
- Geralt of Rivia (Loading Screen)
- Fire Sign (Emote)
- Muscle Memory (Spray)
