Crash Team Rumble is a brand new team-based 4v4 multiplayer game pitting the orange coot himself, his friends and enemies against each other in search of wumpa fruit.
After Crash fell from the sky like some kind of angelic cherub at The Game Awards, he showed us the next game he’ll be starring in, Crash Team Rumble. If this sounds familiar, there is said to be a game called Wumpa League that could very well turn into Crash Team Rumble. The reveal trailer is mostly on the cinematic side, but there’s some gameplay to watch as well.
It looks like you’ll be able to play as a range of classic characters, using each of their unique abilities to collect wumpa fruit, though I couldn’t get more specific than that based on the provided trailer.
The latest outing comes from Toys for Bob, the developers behind Crash Bandicoot 4: About Time, and the last we heard they were temporarily relegated to work on Call of Duty.
Crash Team Rumble is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S sometime in 2023.
