Making calculations about the time it is in each place is complicated because we have to take into account the possible summer time, memorize the time zone of each place and use mathematics. There are many resources to see the time in each part of the world at that time – without going any further, in the Google Clock application, for example – but not so much for see the time in different parts of the world at different times.
That’s exactly what we can do with Timely, a simple app produced by the experimental team at OnePlus OneLab. The app is useful if you need to manage the different time slots as a routine
What time is it anywhere in the world anytime
It’s easy to know what time it is where you are: just look at a clock. It’s also easy to find out what time it is elsewhere, using a tool like Google Clock or a simple Google search. What is not so easy is graphically compare the time in different places.
This is what Zonely promises, a free, simple and ad-free application created by OnePlus but which can be installed on any Android 4.4 or higher mobile. The application is a very simple tool whose configuration involves add cities and a little more.
After adding the corresponding cities, we will see a graph with the 24 hours of the day where we will see the equivalence of hours between all places that we added. In the chart, working hours (configurable) are highlighted with colors, so you can find a space where the offices in Valladolid, Massachusetts and Jakarta are open, or the perfect time to schedule a meeting between team members. a team spread all over the world.
On a more personal level, you can use Zonely to be clear about what time it is home not just now, but later, to “schedule” when you’re calling home while you’re on vacation or whether sending a ton of vacation photos that will arrive as notifications at 4 a.m. is a good idea.
The application is very simple, functional and takes up little space compared to current standards (about 24 MB) making it almost essential for anyone who has to deal more or less frequently with several time slots.
Its adjustments are also modest, although the ability to switch between 12 or 24 hour format, customize which times are considered working hours and force light or dark theme. The application is not in Spanish at the moment.
