One of the best series of recent years available on Amazon Prime Video still has some excellent news to announce to subscribers.
It may not be the most ergonomic or complete platform – some programs don’t have original versions or French subtitles, but Prime Video largely holds its own in terms of quantity, quality and variety. There is a lot to choose from between the back catalogue, the Amazon Originals productions and the different channels you can subscribe to. Enough to spend an evening scrolling through movies and series… and then go to bed at the end. And in the growing list of media, the service stands out with great exclusives like this very popular series from Netflix and Disney+.
A canceled Prime Video series could be back in 2024…
The next Prime Video releases will feature a very crazy animated series, Hazbin Hotel, which is best watched when the kids are in bed. But in a few months, we could see an antihero again in a series beloved by DC fans: Harley Quinn. Last November, Warner Bros. Pictures confirmed a fifth season for the solo adventures of Joker’s ex, who fools around with Poison Ivy. Excellent news for Internet users who quickly became addicted to the series. And obviously it’s not going to die out any time soon.
In an interview, Kaley Cuoco (Big Band Theory), who voices Harley Quinn, revealed that production has already begun on new episodes of this series, available on Prime Video. But she was also amazed at the show’s success and said she was more than willing to keep the role for as long as possible. “We’re already starting production on a new season and it’s so much fun. I don’t even know how it all happened, but it’s still happening and people love it. And I love working on it myself. So it will last as long as they want. That’s what I’m here for.”
See you on Prime Video in 2024? Given what Kaley Cuoco says, there’s a good chance, but the release might be delayed here. Harley Quinn Season 4 ended in September 2023 in the US and is still incomplete in France. Only six out of ten episodes are available on Prime Video…via Warner Pass and the Toonami Channel.
Season 5 of Harley Quinn is progressing very well
Production on the fifth season of Harley Quinn has therefore begun and could continue to run on both HBO and Prime Video for quite a while. In case the release window doesn’t apply to tomorrow, Amazon has already confirmed a number of series and films coming to its video streaming platform in 2024. Here is the list:
