Square Enix announces NieR Re[in]carnation for mobile devices

Shortly after introducing NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, Square Enix has surprised by announcing NieR Re (in) carnation for mobile devices. This is one of the surprises for the tenth anniversary of the first NieR, being developed by Applibot and CyDesignation studios for iOS and Android devices.

Beyond a first teaser trailer preview, no more details have been shared about NieR Re (in) carnation, which will explore topics like memories, nostalgia, loneliness and salvation. At the moment, it is unknown if the title will connect in any way with the two previous works in the saga, NieR and NieR Automata, although everything indicates that this new game will maintain the post-apocalyptic world of the previous installment, which was ended by the invasions of machines from other planets.

Considered as role-playing games, NieR: Automata conquered players for its hack n slash combat system at the same time that an open world is traveled with total freedom to face different threats.
