Blizzard knows it has a great IP with Overwatch. The hero shooter has one of the richest universes and full of barely explored details. Although the idea was to launch narrative missions with Overwatch 2, this project was abandoned. But the idea of exploring their lore has not completely disappeared and could go beyond the trailers and comics they are used to.
