Last week was the The Games Awards, an awards gala where the main protagonists are commercials, gameplays and new trailers of games already presented or completely unreleased. One of those featured at the event was Star Wars: Eclipse, an action title developed by popular studio Quantic Dream; authors of great games like Detroit: Become Human or Heavy Rain.

Star Wars: Eclipse Will Show Us A Vast World Based On The High Republic
A few months before it became official, several insiders disclosed that the French studio was working on an action title linked to the Star Wars franchise, one of them was AccNGT. This user recently shared some new title details, but we really can’t confirm anything. However, this isn’t the first time that one of his leaks has been correct, it’s more; it usually has a very high success rate. This is why we give it some credibility.
Among the data provided by AccNGT, we found that this would be one of the most ambitious games in the study to date, from open world with a competitive multiplayer component. If we look at the publication date of his tweets, they date from the beginning of December, in which he already announced that his presentation would be very close; that has been accomplished. Now they have all reaffirmed what was mentioned that day. On their own terms, they had to expand the capabilities of their own engine to be able to fit into a traditional action game, in the style of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
