Good news for fans of third person.
After the Xbox Games Showcase, the development studio of Avowed, Obsidian, has started giving more details about its upcoming fantasy RPG, including the ability to switch to a third-person perspective. At that time the details were a little vague, but now The team has confirmed that the game is fully playable in third person.
In a new interview with RPG Site, Obsidian developer Gabe Paramo gave this straightforward answer when asked about this option. Paramo went on to say that although the game was primarily designed as a first-person RPG, the third-person mode has been in development for a long time.
