The Paris developers of Spiders today announces the arrival of Greedfall 2: The Dying World in 2024. And unlike its predecessor, it will no longer be Focus for release, but Nacon, another French giant. Scheduled for PC and consoles, the release on Xbox leaves little doubt… A first trailer in the form of a cutscene can be seen below.
This new one greed case keeps its RPG touch but adds a “new gameplay and more tactical battles“. The action takes place three years before the first, with a native of Teer Fradee (an island of Greedfall) as the protagonist. They are forcibly taken there to be taken to Gacane, the kingdom of the colonists. From there, your adventure begins with combat and diplomacy, with the goal of regaining your freedom.
The first greed case had received a warm welcome upon its release in 2019. The small team of Spiders had surprised its world thanks to a coherent world, a rich scenario and a successful technique. Studio fans have been waiting steel crates (which will probably come out before then), so the new one greed case turns out to be a big surprise!
