The WhatsApp machinery does not stop even in summer. The app is well known for releasing great features all year round, both publicly and in beta. A few days ago Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, made an announcement with the main news that will come to the messaging service. However, they also used the official Twitter account to announce many more like the possibility of deleting messages with a wider time margin from the moment it was sent: 48 hours and 12 hours.
48 hours and 12 hours: time to delete WhatsApp messages
While waiting for the WhatsApp communities and all this news that was presented months ago, we are content with the small steps that the application takes during the summer months. The changes announced months ago are far-reaching and haven’t yet made it to private betas, so we could be screwing up in December without knowing anything about them. We’ll see.
However, what we know for sure is the arrival of new functions: remove the visibility of “online”, solutions to avoid taking screenshots of temporary messages and a long etcetera. Among them, WhatsApp made the announcement of extend time to delete message forever on his Twitter account:

48 hours and 12 hours is the time the user has to delete a message. Remember that to delete it we will have to select the potential messages and click on the trash can. Later we will have to choose to delete it for ourselves or for everyone. When we delete it for everyone, a trail will be left in the conversation warning that we deleted a message.
