The latest trailer for Metaphor: ReFantazio, titled “The King’s Trial,” offers a captivating look into the game’s fantasy world. The plot centers on a tournament for the royal throne, in which players and their allies embark on trials across the land to prove their worth. The Atlus studio, known for being behind the famous Persona saga, also announces the release date of its new title, scheduled for October 11, 2024 on PC, PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

What’s new: Metaphor: ReFantazio is inspired by the famous Persona series and features innovative and addictive game mechanics. Combat, both real-time and turn-based, offers players a dynamic and strategic experience. Additionally, the game introduces a time management system similar to Persona, where players must carefully plan their actions to achieve their goals within the time limit.
The profession system, or “archetypes,” offers players a variety of skills and playstyles to explore, allowing you to tailor your experience to their preferences. This depth of play guarantees high replay value and invites players to discover new strategies and combinations as their adventure progresses.
Team exploration and adaptation
With Metaphor: ReFantazio, players will travel! The game features a variety of environments, from small rural towns to wastelands, offering rich and varied exploration. You can participate in activities such as bounty hunting and discover hidden secrets. In addition, in true Persona style, it will be possible to create connections with different characters to unlock new abilities and gameplay options. The game is not yet available for pre-order. However, it will soon be available at a price of 70 dollars for the classic version and 150 dollars for the collector’s edition.
