A full-fledged implementation of Assassin’s Creed: Mirage for the iPhone has long been promised – and now it has a concrete release date.
More and more console blockbusters are now making the leap to mobile devices as they become more and more powerful and make this possible. A prime example is the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, which were previously supplied with the full versions of Resident Evil: Village, Resident Evil 4 Remake or Death Stranding – without these games having to make any major compromises compared to their console counterparts.
Ubisoft has also announced such a mobile implementation for Assassin’s Creed: Mirage for the current Apple smartphone – and anyone who owns an iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max can now pull out their calendar if they are interested. In the meantime, the development of this game version has progressed to such an extent that Ubisoft has now been able to announce a specific release date for the title in the App Store: June 6, 2024 will be the day and you can also get Assassin’s Creed: Mirage on yours Download iPhone and play on the go. The latest iPads are also supported.
The mobile version was first announced in September 2023 as part of Apple’s Wonderlust event. Reason: The powerful A17 Pro chip with six cores and the M1 chip also support native, hardware-based ray tracing and enable such implementations of AAA titles.
On iOS, Assassin’s Creed: Mirage will support cross-saves and cross-progression as well as controller support.
