One last highly anticipated volume

Whether we like the Japanese saga Attack on Titan or not, it is clear that its success is enormous, be it for the manga created by Hajime Isayama or for his animated series. Last October, French readers were finally able to discover the results of Eren Jäger’s adventures thanks to the arrival of Volume 34 in our bookstores, a final edition with new and exclusive bonus pages, published by Pika Edition. As a reminder, in this final volume, Armin and a group of fighters prepare to intervene to stop Eren while the owner of the Colossal Titan is captured by an enemy Titan. The characters are in the midst of a critical situation as they are surrounded by previous generations of ancient titans.

Video game adjustments

From its Japanese name Shingeki no Kyojin, the series was first adapted for our gaming platforms via our PCs and consoles in Europe thanks to the episode Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom, while Attack on Titan 2 saw the light of day in March 2018. That Mobile game Attack on Titan: Assault was released in March 2019, a version that allows you to play as Eren, Levi, Mikasa and Armin to manage our base and attack the titans around the walls of the kingdom.

New episodes from tomorrow!

While we will have to wait until January 9, 2022 to discover the episodes that will end the animated series, the Wakanim and Crunchyroll platforms will launch new episodes of just over twenty minutes each starting this Sunday, December 19. Originally designed to incorporate the bonuses of DVD boxing, these episodes are eight in number.

The first three lead us into the past of Captain Hansi Zoe and show us the line-up of the 104th Training Brigade. This is followed by two episodes devoted to the past of Levi and the future Major Erwin Smith (from the spin-off manga Birth of Livai, by Pika Edition), while the final episodes are devoted to the adventures of the characters Annie Leonhart and Mikasa Ackermann (Manga Lost Girls, also published by Pika). So there is something to wait for in the last few weeks separating us from the outcome of the cartoon.
