Ubisoft currently has the most promising and most well-known avatar game project in the works, but now another game adaptation to match the new cinema films is swinging up.
The former sci-fi flick and mega hit “Avatar” is known to be continued with several films – and there will be game adaptations again, as befits today’s entertainment world. Ubisoft is working on a promising PC and console game in AAA format, but you should also be able to immerse yourself in the colorful world of Pandora on the go in the future.
With Avatar: Reckoning, a new online game has now been announced, which takes up the sci-fi setting of the franchise. The release is planned for iOS and Android and lets you join different clans of the Na’Vi. With these you must then fight waves of RDA troops either solo or in multiplayer games.
You create a character, equip it with items and weapons and also have to complete story missions. The multiplayer consists of a co-op as well as PvP modes. Avatar: Reckoning’s battles are said to be tailor-made for mobile devices via touchscreen.
Archosaur Games is responsible for the development of the mobile title, and the release is planned for the course of 2022. A closed beta will start in Canada later this month. It is the second upcoming Avatar game release, alongside the lavish title from Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment called Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
