According to a report, the upcoming new Battlefield will receive a feature that was previously present in the shooter series, but was sorely missed in the last part, Battlefield 2042. The leaning feature is set to make a comeback after it was no longer on board in Battlefield 2042 for the first time since Battlefield 3, released in 2011. Now EA and DICE are apparently having a rethink!
The leaning mechanic allows you to better protect yourself by leaning on parts of the game environment. This way you can return fire without having to give up your cover on a large scale. This type of cover was introduced in Battlefield 4 in 2013 and has been an integral part of the Battlefield series since then until the last part.
Leaning is back in the next Battlefield.
