Bridgerton-Spin-off: Start
So far there is no information as to when the series will start. Most of the actors are now well-known, so filming may start this year. If that’s the case, we can probably expect the new series by the end of 2023.
Bridgerton Spin-Off: Storyline
The spin-off tells the history of the English ruler, whereby the young “Bridgerton” characters Lady Danbury and Lady Violet Bridgerton will also appear.
The focus will be on the friendship of young Queen Charlotte, Lady Danbury and Lady Violet Bridgerton.

Bridgerton spin-off: cast
India Amarteifio (“Line of Duty”) will play the young Queen Charlotte. Arsema Thomas will play the young Lady Danbury. It is not yet known who will play the young Violet Bridgerton.
Also starring are Corey Mylchreest (“Sandman”) as young George III, Michelle Fairley (“Game of Thrones”) as George’s mother Princess Augusta, Sam Clemmett as young Brimsley (“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”), Richard Cunningham ( “The Witcher”) as Lord Bute, Tunji Kasim (“Nancy Drew”) as Adolphus, Rob Maloney (“Casualty”) as the Royal Doctor, Cyril Nri (“Cucumber”) as Lord Danbury and Hugh Sachs as the elder Brimsley in to be seen in the series.
We’ll also see Katie Brayben (“The Wheel of Time”) and Keir Charles (“Coroner Leo Dalton”) as Vivan Ledger and Lord Ledger. That reports that US-Magazin Deadline.
But also Golda Rosheuvel (“Coroner Dr. Leo Dalton”), Ruth Gemmell (“Penny Dreadful”) and Adjoa Andoh (“Law & Order: UK”, “Doctor Who”) are cast as Queen Charlotte, Lady Violet Bridgerton and Lady Danbury be visible.
Bridgerton spin-off: production
Shonda Rhimes (“Grey’s Anatomy”, “Scandal”, “Seattle Firefighters”) will write the miniseries. The series should start shooting in 2022, but more specific information is not yet known.
