Dragon Age: Dire Wolf A report said it could be released sometime this fiscal year.
EA released its fourth quarter and full-year 2024 financial results overnight, and the company noted in the report that two unannounced games will be released before March 2025. The company’s current fiscal year ends on March 31, 2025.
One of the games is a partner game and the other is an “own IP game,” which according to Eurogamer is Dreadwolf.
As previously reported, Dread Wolf will star Thoras from Dragon Age: Inquisition as an elven hedge mage, dissident, and fading expert. One of his abilities is lucid dreaming, which allows him to discern the history of areas where the Veil is weak. He can also manipulate the cracks in the veil.
BioWare says that if you’re new to Dragon Age, it doesn’t matter whether you’re familiar with Solas or not, as he will “properly introduce himself at the appropriate time.”
The studio says it will reveal the game in full sometime this summer. No release window or hint has been provided, but a release date will likely accompany the release. you will never know.
It was revealed that the “Rise of the Dread Wolf” line was teased back in 2018 during development, but Solas wasn’t mentioned by name, but he did appear in the trailer.
BioWare has been promoting Dragon Age: Dread Wolf since 2017 with small trailers and some concept art. The game is said to take players to Twente, where the events of the Inquisition and Invaders could change the continent of Thedas forever.
