Dragon Age: The Veilguard: Naked skin? You can have it!

There is no specific date for Dragon Age: The Veilguard yet, but it is getting closer, as you can tell from the constant stream of information. Among other things, it also revolves around bare facts.

Romance and naked facts are actually something that role players in particular value, and there is often a lot of it on offer. We remember that in the character editor of Cyberpunk 2077 we were able to deal quite extensively with primary and secondary sexual characteristics, which were also used in various affairs in the game, even if not necessarily explicitly in the picture. And Baldur’s Gate III is apparently anything but shy when it comes to nudity and love affairs.

At least you can now deal with the bust size without any clothes on in the character editor, which is a pretty clear indication that the physical advantages will also be used later. “It’s an adult role-playing game,” Game Director Corinne Busch emphasized with a smile.

Whether the lower regions will also be shown in the right light remains a secret that the developers say players should find out for themselves, and the visit also revealed no new information about the options for romance. Given North American prudishness when it comes to depicting sexual characteristics, it remains to be seen whether and what will actually be seen in the end.

At least Bioware has already confirmed that there will be more explicit scenes, and we know something similar from previous Bioware titles like Mass Effect. Corinne Busche already commented on possible love scenes to IGN: “Some of them are hotter than others. Just like in real life, our companions have such different personalities. Some of them are more physical, aggressive, and others are more… For example, we have a gentleman necromancer who is more intimate and sensual.”

It is still possible that Bioware will hide any private parts of the body from our eyes in cutscenes by cleverly placing objects or shadows. However, our colleague from Game Informer is certain that Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be the most saucy part of the role-playing series to date. Oh man, I still haven’t gotten used to the new name of the game, Dreadwolf somehow sounded better. But oh well, the main thing is that it will be a good game if it comes out this year.
